Exchanges are shipped free once the original item is returned. Return shipping is at your own cost, and items must be sent back in their original condition.

JEANS AND A TEE

Everyday uniform

Blue jeans and a T-shirt—that’s the foundation. The WL-T is my take on the classic tee: simple, clean, and built to last.

Made from 220 gsm organic cotton jersey, it’s what most would call a heavyweight—but in the raw denim world, it’s the perfect middle ground. Substantial, soft, and drapes well without feeling stiff.

The fabric is knitted and sewn in northern Portugal, not far from where the jeans are made. No loopwheels here, but the construction gives it the same comfort and shape retention through wash and wear.

Is it loopwheeled?

No, the WL-T is not loopwheeled—and that’s a deliberate choice.

Loopwheeled T-shirts are everywhere right now. They’re made on old, circular knitting machines that run very slowly and produce tubular fabric with no side seams. Those machines exist only in Germany and Japan, with production capacity that’s very limited.

Availability and geography does play a role. The WL-T is knitted and sewn in Portugal, close to where the jeans are made. But the bigger reason is the fit.

Because loopwheeled T-shirts are knitted as tubes, meaning the body has the same width from chest to hem. You can’t create a tapered shape without cutting the fabric, which partly defeats the purpose. And since most of us are broader in the chest than at the waist, loopwheeled tees often end up either tight up top or too wide through the body.

With the Weirloom T-shirt, the goal was to create an everyday T-shirt with a clean, slightly tapered fit—comfortable on the shoulders and chest, without excess fabric at the waist, and able to hold its shape through wear and washing.

FIT AND SIZING

Casually modern

The cut is casual with a slight taper so it doesn’t flare at the waist. Sleeves are balanced—not cropped, not long. A ribbed crewneck finishes it off: clean, classic, and built to hold its shape.

For reference, Jacob is 173 cm and 72 kg (5'8" and 158 lbs), wearing size L. That’s his usual size in Western brands.
